AMP Foundation Stair Challenge
AMP Foundation has risen to the challenge and will be raising funds for Variety – the Children’s Charity.
On Friday 18 November, the AMP Foundation Stair Challenge will see climbers take on 49 floors and 1767 steps at one of Sydney’s newest buildings Quay Quarter Tower.
It’s a serious challenge, but as each climber reaches the top of the building, they’ll not only be rewarded by stunning views of the iconic Harbour Bridge and Opera House, but also know they’ve supported children and their families who are facing financial challenges.
Raising a child with a disability or illness can be expensive and cause financial strain for families due to high medical costs, specialised education needs or restricted income due to caring responsibilities.
Variety with the support from the AMP Foundation, has developed a new financial counselling program to support these families. Variety’s Financial Counsellors have supported more than 115 families since the program began.
The AMP Foundation will dollar-match up to $100,000 raised.
